Moved to a new city? Picked up a new sport? Thred™ helps you find other outdoor athletes in your area who match your activity, ability level, and schedule. No awkward gym sign-ups, no generic social media — just real connections built around shared adventures.
- Discover nearby adventurers by sport and location
- See their goals and interests before reaching out
- Send a simple connection request — no cold messaging required; they have 96 hours to get back to you
- Filter by Climbing, Cycling, Watersports, Running/Hiking, Snowsports, or Motorcycles

Three Tabs That Keep Your Network Organized
The Connect feature is built around three focused tabs so you always know where to look — whether you are finding someone new, keeping up with existing connections, or handling incoming requests.
- Discover — browse suggested profiles based on your sport preferences and location, with sport category filters and username search
- Connections — see everyone you are already connected with, including bookmarked users with temporary messaging access
- Requests — manage incoming requests (Accept or Decline) and outgoing requests (cancel any time)

A Social Feed Built for Adventurers, Not Algorithms
Some apps lets you follow people, but the feed is just stats. Thred's activity feed shows the full adventure — routes, photos, locations, and the people you were with. Follow the adventurers who inspire you and keep your feed full of the outdoors, not noise.
- Activity feed shows routes, photos, and location context
- React and comment on your friends' adventures
- Chronological feed — your people first, always
- Message any connection: text, photos, files, and location pins

Bookmark Anyone — Then Connect When Ready
Just met someone on a trail? Tap the bookmark icon on their profile card to bookmark them. They immediately appear in your Connections tab to review their profile later — no formal connection request needed.
- Bookmarked users appear in Connections for 7 days
- After 7 days they return to Discover — reconnect any time
- Toggle the bookmark again to remove it early
Privacy and Safety Built Into Every Connection
Thred™ is designed for real-world meetups, so privacy is a first-class feature — not an afterthought. You control who can find you, who can message you, and who sees your profile.
- Block any user instantly — they disappear from your feed and cannot see your profile
- Username-only discovery protects your full name and personal data
- All Thred data is encrypted — you only ever see what you are meant to
