Thred™ Spring 2026 Beta Test Release
Our biggest update yet. The Spring 2026 beta introduces a redesigned activity feed, expanded geo-mapping tools, and a fully revamped group events experience — built for every adventurer.
Adventure, rebuilt from the ground up.
Thred™ Spring 2026 brings a new feed engine, live geo-mapping, group events, and a smarter way to find your friends — all in one app built for the outdoors.
What's New in the Feed
The activity feed has been rebuilt from the ground up. Routes, climbs, rides, and events from the people you are connected with, newest first. React, comment, and tap "Let's Reach Out" directly from any post.
Zen Mode now extends to the feed, giving you a distraction-free view with no notification badges cluttering your experience.

Geo-Mapping — Now Smarter
Route planning gets a major upgrade with new offline map layers, slope-angle overlays for backcountry adventures, and one-tap import from your existing apps — all part of the Explorer plan. Every route you save is shareable, with a linked weather forecast baked in.
The Live Activity route tracker on iOS now shows your distance to the trail, a bearing arrow, and off-trail alerts directly on your lock screen — no need to unlock your phone mid-adventure.

Group Events, Rebuilt
Join group outdoor events with a single tap, or create your own on the Explorer plan. Organizers can now attach gear lists (Coming soon!), skill requirements, and parking information directly to an event. Attendees get automatic directions to the trailhead, plus an event comments thread to coordinate on the day.

Built for Every Adventurer
Every sport, every skill level, every trail. The Thred™ community is as diverse as the outdoors itself.
